Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Fresh Catch Guarantee

At GoFish Siliguri, freshness is our promise. If you receive fish that does not meet our quality standards, we will provide a full refund or replacement — no questions asked. Simply report the issue within 2 hours of delivery with a photograph.

2. Order Cancellation

  • Before Processing: Orders can be cancelled free of charge before they enter the "Preparing" stage. Full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
  • After Processing: Once your order is being prepared (fish cleaned and cut), cancellation is not possible as the product is perishable and customized.
  • In Transit: Orders that are already out for delivery cannot be cancelled.

3. Refund Eligibility

  • Wrong item delivered — full refund or correct item re-delivered.
  • Quality issue (not fresh, damaged) — full refund upon photo verification within 2 hours of delivery.
  • Missing items from the order — refund for the missing item(s).
  • Significant weight discrepancy (more than 10% less than ordered) — partial refund or top-up delivery.
  • Delivery not completed within the scheduled slot without prior notice — full refund.

4. Refund Process

  • Online Payments (UPI/Card via Razorpay): Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD): Refunds for COD orders will be issued as store credit or via bank transfer (NEFT/UPI) within 5-7 business days.
  • Weekly Catch Club Subscriptions: Unused portions of subscription plans can be refunded on a pro-rata basis. Contact support for details.

5. Non-Refundable Scenarios

  • Change of mind after the order has entered the "Preparing" stage.
  • Incorrect delivery address provided by the customer.
  • Customer unavailable at the delivery location during the selected time slot (after 2 contact attempts).
  • Claims raised more than 2 hours after delivery.

6. How to Request a Refund

Please include your Order ID and a photograph if reporting a quality issue. Our team will respond within 30 minutes during business hours (6 AM - 9 PM).
